Training on production technology
Backed by its abundant shared resources and entrusted by government departments, industry associations and related enterprises, the Composites Industry Center irregularly organizes production technology training courses on high performance fibers, insulation materials and fiber reinforced composites, etc., creating a professional training platform to improve the quality of products and promote the development of industry.
Interpretation and publicity of standards
Relaying on its innovation and service platform for standardization and by using the qualified expert resource of national technical committees on standardization of carbon fibers, glass fibers and thermal insulations, the Composites Industry Center irregularly makes publicity and interpretation on related international standards, national standards and professional standards. Meanwhile, according to the demand from government departments, industry associations and related enterprises, it conducts customized trainings on related standards for customers to promote the orderly development of industrial norms and improve the standardization level in enterprises.
Training on professional skills
Relying on the platform of professional skill assessment for "glass fiber and products operaters" of Nanjing Fiberglass Institute, this work aims at establishing a regional talents training system and a developing mode of co-progress with local district to create a base for training high-skilled talents and evaluating professional skills.
The Center will explore a model of cooperation between the government, institutes, enterprises and schools to push the vocational schools in districts where the glass fiber industry is relatively concentrated to offer optional courses on glass fibers and jointly train industrial workers.
The Center will continue to organize competitions on glass fiber skills to improve the quality of industrial workers in the region.
